{"id":11353,"date":"2021-08-04T14:34:28","date_gmt":"2021-08-04T18:34:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cprbestek.com\/produit\/gscm-revc-v513-generator-start-control-module\/"},"modified":"2025-05-30T13:54:41","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T17:54:41","slug":"gscm-revc-v513-generator-start-control-module","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/cprbestek.com\/en\/produit\/gscm-revc-v513-generator-start-control-module\/","title":{"rendered":"GSCM (Rev.C V5.13) A0217 Generator Start Control Module"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GSCM (Rev.C V5.13) ( A0217 ) is a non programmable micro-processor start controller for a generator.<\/p>\n<p>The Generator Start Control Module (GSCM) is a field-programmable microprocessor-based generator-starting controller that receives start commands from the 12-volt output from an OutBack FX inverter auxiliary output, a user-supplied switch, an auxiliary relay in an inverter, a voltage controlled relay, a timer or any user-supplied contact closure. It automatically controls a gas\/propane or diesel powered generator or pump, and it is totally sealed for harsh environment operation.<\/p>\n<p>The GSCM provides a normally open relay contact to start the engine and disconnect the starter when a minimum generator frequency output is measured. \u00a0It monitors the generator operation, shutting it down if one of several fault conditions is detected. \u00a0LEDs are flashed to indicate the cause of the shutdown. \u00a0Manually resetting the GSCM removes the lockout and allows the generator to restart if called. \u00a0The GSCM is powered by 12 to 24 volts DC from a battery bank and will start generators for 12 to 48V systems. \u00a0For 48V systems, the GSCM must be powered by a 24V-or-less tap on the 48V battery bank. \u00a0The GSCM provides a 30-day exercise function which can be synchronized with a photovoltaic input to only start each 30-day period at the beginning of the solar charge day.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GSCM Rev. C set up adjustments is now accomplished with three push buttons: Change\/ store, menu up and menu down.<\/li>\n<li>GSCM Rev C-4.5HC has all adjustments hard coded with set up mode disabled.<\/li>\n<li>GSCM Rev C-5.13 added a stop command after each starting attempt to ensure generator is not already running before trying to start a second or third time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The GSCM is also available in a mini version.\u00a0 A 2 to 3 wire start, but not programmable.\u00a0 See GSCM-mini 60Hz (USA &amp; Canada), GSCM-mini-i or GSCM-mini-d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact Sales@offgriddepot.ca for the proper hookup diagram.
